We are all packed up! Here is a glimpse of my office last week. I hope to be back up and crafting again in April, but for now I will be sharing stuff from my travels and lnk you to some cool stuff when I can!
After a long recovery, I decided to get my butt into gear! I have been making cards for the upcoming craft fair at the Embassy here. I made 75 kangaroo cards- some with different colors and flowers. I used American Crafts papers, Colorbox chalk ink, Kaiser Craft flowers and bling, I am not sure who makes the stamps, they were passed down to me- Thanks Janet!!! If you are in the Canberra area, make sure to stop and see me on Wednesday @ 1-3 in the Atrium. I will have handbags, cards, and little fabric bonbons, perfect teacher gifts!!!! Here is the card...
And I have also started making these BDU handbags. It was made out of my husbands old BDU. I also incorporated a pocket on the inside and the outside, a name, tape and a USAF tape on each of the handles. I am willing to make special order handmade bags out of your loved ones uniform, it only takes the top, email me for any details!!! Here is the photo of it.
Thanks for looking and it feels great to be back crafting!!! :)
I made this little ATC for the color challenge over on PCP Studio G site. You can check out the challenge here! I used Bazzill, Studio G inks and stamps. The pp is from DCWV and is also inked and pop dotted for some depth.
It has been such a long time sine I have been able to sign in!!! We were on spring break for 2 weeks, and now I will be having surgery in 2 days! I hope I will be able to get in here and share some of my creativity with y'all!!!
This is a mini card I made for a cardmaking day challenge. The challenge was to make a card smaller than 3 by 3 inches. I used a Pezadoodle cupcake with matching primas. I love coloring in stamped images, I find myself doing that when I get bored! :)
I just had to give my new Cuttlebug folder a go! I used Bazzillbling, inked and stamped with Studio G chalk ink, and I used Aleens glitter snow for the roof tops and snow flakes. Kind of a mess to work with, but I really like the way it turned out!
This challenge starts today, Sunday, September 27th and ends on Saturday, October 10th with the winner being posted on Sunday the 11th.This week's challenge is a sketch challenge -- using the sketch below, make a card/LO/project featuring Studio G stamps. And post it here on the challenge page! :)
Here is my take on the Challenge! DCWV papers with matching ric rack. I used the newest Studio G Christmas set and colored them in with Copic markers.
So you ever feel the need to rip paper??? If so this challenge is for you! I used SEI papers with brown chalk ink, Prima flowers secured with a rhinestone brad. I also stitched around the torncardstock to give the strip of paper a little depth. Click here to check out the challenge and post your creation. The challenge closed on the 27th, so you have plenty of time to get a few created and submitted! :)
